Babsy B Tip: Power Naps

by Babs Hadjusiewicz October 08, 2015

Why is your baby so plum-tuckered-out and deeply in need of those power naps all day?

Your child is holding down two full-time jobs! One’s a killer whole-body workout that’s obvious and sometimes noisy and messy, even.

That second job is also a killer workout, though this one's quiet and not-so-obvious. Baby’s ears and brain must hear every sound you and others say.

And all the while, Baby is learning two added self-help skills:

  1. Who to count on to say and repeat all those language sounds––you!
  2. That rest and sleep give energy to begin the next double shift.
