Reading Head Start: Signage Fun with Your Toddler

While out for a walk, point and say, “Oh, I spy a street sign!” Similarly notice other signs, such as: stop sign; yield sign; private sign; house number sign; one-way sign; fence sign; for sale sign; and the like.

Your toddler listens and looks.

Your child is on the way to understanding that the print on signs gives us information.
