Babsy B Tip: Conversation Starters

How to Ask About Your Child’s Day

Ask open-ended questions with purpose, such as:

“What kind words did you hear today?”

“What kind words did you say today?”

“What useful word did you learn today? How do you think it will be useful to you?”

“What useful skill did you practice today? How do you think you might use that skill?”

Your child will share real experiences and feel a meaningful and purposeful connection with you.
